English: This is a old painting than I finish during my class in the art studio of my school ... it took me 4 moths finish it... I beggin it the last year and I finish it six moths ago but I had not done myself time to submit it in the DA . The technic is the use of acrylics paints over a canvas, I used paitbrushes, sponge, syringe with cutted needle and mi fingers This isn't a original artwork, is based in a photo form a old Grennpeace Calendar... the bad is I can't find it and IO can't remember the name of the photographer, so, when I can find it I will put the right and recognition to the author of the original photography Oh yeah! Sorry for don't show live signals... but I was lazy
Painting done by and belongs to... me Author of the original phtography... I can't remeber
DON'T COPY, STEAL OR RIP... PLEASE COMMENTS AND COMPLETE CRITIQUE (DON'T FLAMES)... THAT IS ALL, THANK YOU
That is STUNNING work. How do you use a sponge and syringe to apply/take off paint? I would imagine that you'd use the sponge to gently dab on and off paint, but I can't figure out the syringe. Do you squirt paint on? Suction it off? IDK.
I used the syringe with a modified hypodermic needle for do the thin lines that outlines the scales in turtle's flippers. I cut the point of hypodermic needle and then I bend it slightly in the tip. I used a rough sponge for make part of the texture in the coral reef.
wow! great job! I just can't paint on a canvas that well it always turns out likke mush, so this is just incredible^^

Life is messy, that's how we're made. So you can waste your life drawing lines.. or you can live your life crossing them.
I didn't hit you. I simply high-fived your face.
